Earth- The green planet as we know it, is actually not green any more. The planet now needs aiding and we all know it why and how.
Awareness is being created among people for plantation since last many decades. We can see almost 50, 000 videos of “awareness about making earth safer” on Youtube! But what are we heading towards? Are these awareness programmes successful? If yes, till what extent? Our animal and bird species are still getting extinct.While the little ones performed activities as planting saplings, painting earth pictures with their tiny hand impressions, attired themselves with colourful bins, making pledge boards, recited poems on the mother earth and its safety, showed their hearted effort on the movement. Students have also enacted plays, played skits, done mime acts, made best out of waste material for making useful decorations.
The grown-ups as compared, with better mind power and resources, created posters, slogans and created various murals to be established as rallies in their special assemblies. They exhibited concerns on various types of pollutions, degradation of resources, plastic hazards. Students engraved posters on each wall and many staircases of the school, displaying the need to save our planet and unfolded the ways in which we can reduce waste and recycle material.
