A Hindi workshop was organized by Kamal Model School, with Resource person, Ms. Neelam Arora. This workshop was attended by many teachers from Vandana International School, Kamal International School, Rishikul International School and Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School.
The aim of the workshop was to learn how to create interest of students in learning Hindi. Skill development of teachers was another agenda of the workshop to make their efforts more fruitful. Ms. Arora used various techniques to make teachers understand how practical knowledge is more effective and how they can implement it in their classes.
The teachers were of the view that these types of workshops should be organised on a regular basis, where they can learn new techniques to make students learn and grasp more easily. The resource person, Ms. Neelam has taken Hindi workshops all over the country and she has also written Hindi Grammar Books for Classes from 1st to 10th.
On 5th July 2019, a workshop for Yoga was held in the school auditorium with teachers. Teachers from Kamal International School, Vandana International School and Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School attended the workshop conducted by Yog Guru Rajbir Tyagi and Ms. Aarti.
Mr. Rajbir Tyagi is the Vice President of Yoga and Human Welfare organization. He provides free Yoga classes and consultations all over Delhi. The following activities took place in the workshop, like:
Teachers felt relaxed after the session. They really enjoyed the laughter therapy. Yog-Guru suggested them many Yoga positions to increase flexibility, lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia. Some positions were explained individually to lessen chronic pains such as lower back pain, arthritis and headaches.
