Ram Raj Samman Samaroh was organized on the occasion of 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Ji, by Indraprastha Shiksha Evam Khel Vikas Sangthan, Shri Ramlok Mandir, Solan, H.P on 19th October 2019 at the speaker Hall, Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg, New Delhi. School teachers of Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School were awarded with skills, medals, certificates & gold plated coins.

On 4th October 2019, 150th Birth anniversary of Sri Mahatma Gandhi Ji was celebrated along with Padam Bhushan Mahashay Dharampal Gulati, owner of MDH Pvt. Ltd. The programme was organized by the students of Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School under the guidance of Principal, Mrs. Vandana Tandon and Chairman Mr. V.P. Tandon and their mentors. It was organized at the newly renovated Mahatma Gandhi Sabhagar, built inside the premises of Kamal Model School. Renowned dignitaries Mr. Naresh balyan (MLA), Mr. Yashpal Arya (Ex-Chairman, SDMC), Padma Sri Ramakant Shukla (Eductaionist), Sh. Vinay Arya (General Secretary), Sh. Vinod Babbar(Chief Editor, Rashtra Kinkar) were felicitated by the Principal, Mrs. Vandana Tandon and the Chairman Mr. V.P. Tandon. School’s backend staff was rewarded for their hardwork and received momentos from the king of spices, Mahashay Dharam pal Gulati.
On the eve of Dussehra this year, Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi was present at the DDA Ground of Dwarka Sector 10. Our Chairman Mr. V.P. Tandon along with the management group of Kamal, Vandana and Trinity Institutes were honoured to meet the Prime Minister of India on the occasion. A team of MLAs and other famous dignitaries were present along with them. Mr. V. P.Tandon, felicitated the PM with a shawl and a garland.
Dev Vaani Parishad mahotsav along with Kavi Sammelan All India Poets Conference. All India Conference was successfully organized on 12 October 2019 in the newly constructed auditorium of Kamal Model Senior Secondary School, Mohan Garden. The stage was moderated by the eminent poet Mr. Manish Madhukar. Poets like Ms. Rajni Avni, Mr. Deepak Saini, Mr. Pankaj Angar, and Mr. Kushal Kushwaha graced the audience with their wonderful. Chairman Mr. Ved Prakash Tandon and Principal Mrs. Vandana Tandon honored the poets. Expressing gratitude to the poets, Smt. Pushpa Jindal expressed her feelings that there should be programs which are a source of inspiration for students and teachers.
Our school got the opportunity to organize / marshal the CBSE Athletic Meet Cluster 20 this year at Chhatrasal Stadium, Delhi. The Chairman Mr. V.P. Tandon and the Principal Mrs. Vandana Tandon commended the Chief Guests, Mr. Sushil Kumar (Wrestling Champion) and Sri Parivesh Verma ( MLA) with momentos and planters. Various games were played by students like Discus throw, Triple Jump, High Jump and races for 100, 400 and 1500 mtrs under various categories of age, like Under 14, 17 and 19 for boys and girls. Non-participating students cheered up the participants with their amazing performances that geared their energy levels.
On 15th October, at the CBSE Athletic Meet Cluster 20 this year at Chhatrasal Stadium, Delhi, more games were played by the students like 200, 800, 3000 and 5000 meters race, Javeling Throw, Shot Put, Long Jump, Relays of 4*400 and 4*100 mtrs. Sports Secretary of Zone 18, CBSE Mrs. Kamini Rawat and Mrs. Sunita Rai, Athletic Coach (HOD), Chhatrasal Stadium attended the event and Mr. Kishan Kr. Tyagi came as an observer from CBSE. After their splendid performances, the children were awarded for their achievements.
